Women finds egg inside another egg
A Texas woman who cracked open a giant egg laid by one of her hens said the yolk was on her when she found another complete egg inside it.
Cookie Smith of Abilene said she was surprised when one of her three hens laid the egg, which she said is about 3 inches longer than a normal egg and weighs about three times as much as the eggs she usually brings in. She was further shocked when she cracked open the "super egg" and another complete egg was inside along with the white and yolk, the Abilene Reporter-News reported Monday.
A video created by Britain's National History Museum at Tring says such a "double egg" is a somewhat rare occurrence and is caused by "unusual contractions" force a developing egg back into the bird's ovary, where it is surrounded by another egg.
Smith said she and her husband have decided not to eat the contents of either egg.

Congress passed the Prison Rape Elimination Act in 2003 hoping to contain a national epidemic. Nearly a decade later, however, the problem apparently persists. The Department of Justice this month finally got around to releasing a 2008 survey in which 1 in 10 state prison inmates reported that they had been sexually assaulted while serving time.
the people who  sexually assaulted the other inmates should get a bigger fine on their bond, and be in jail longer then their original bail
Veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are most concerned with getting a job, according to data released this spring. They also are focused on finding mental and physical health care. Indeed, veterans can find themselves dealing with disabilities on their own, fueling the epidemics of homelessness and suicide.

I think we should help them. They have done so much for us and its hard for them to get a job. since they are veterans, we should do something for them in returns

Earlier this week, the White House received a petition bearing 60,000 signatures demanding an apology to Maher Arar, a Canadian citizen who was the victim of one of the more outrageous abuses of power under President Bush.
In September 2002, Mr. Arar tried to change planes at JFK Airport in New York. He was detained on the basis of a tip from the Canadian authorities claiming he was somehow involved with Al Qaeda. Mr. Arar denied any involvement with the organization and the evidence against him ranged from flimsy to non-existent. He appears to have done nothing more than eat shawarma at a restaurant with a man who may or may not have known another man who may have had a Qaeda connection.

I think the US should apologize, they shouldnt accuse people of doing that, abuse the "victim" untill they have proof

THE debate over same-sex marriage in the United States has become a battle between two totally opposing visions. Proponents of gay equality want the Supreme Court to proclaim same-sex marriage a fundamental right of citizens, which the court, given its conservative bent, seems unlikely to do. Opponents dream of a federal constitutional amendment banning same-sex unions, which also seems improbable, given rapidly evolving attitudes toward homosexuality.

I feel that if the same sex marriage wants to get married they should be aloud to. Everyone deserves to be happy if they find the one they love,, let them marry

In a few months, the Los Angeles County Housing Authority will begin allowing rent subsidies to be granted to homeless ex-convicts on parole or probation.
they give you a voucher which you would give to the landlord. And he bases your rent off of your income or project basing which is houses that is set aside for section 8
By giving this to ex-conficts its taking away from more people that need it more then them. its forcing others to live on streets, and they get place to stay for them doing Completly nothing.
By doing this will cause housing problems with LA, Convicts are getting the step up, when We need it more.
basically the people who really need it will be in loss of a home, and Ex-convicts will be getting the houses that we worked hard for.

The suit adds that, because of Kravitz’s alleged misconduct, “there is decreased traffic to [the] website through the account, which in turn decreases the number of website pageviews and discourages advertisers from paying for ad inventory on PhoneDog’s website.”
